Join the 2027 DMoPA Leadership Cohort
Public Conscience. Democratic Renewal. Transformative Leadership.
Applications Open for the Inaugural Cohort
The future of democratic life depends upon the formation of leaders capable of thinking deeply, acting responsibly, strengthening institutions, cultivating public trust, and contributing to the flourishing of communities.
The DMoPA Leadership Cohort was created for individuals who recognize that leadership is more than position, influence, or visibility. Leadership is a form of formation. It is the ongoing development of the moral, intellectual, civic, spiritual, and organizational capacities necessary to serve others faithfully and effectively.
Grounded in the Douglassian Methodology of Prophetic Agitation (DMoPA), this cohort invites participants into a year-long learning experience focused on public conscience formation, democratic renewal, leadership development, institutional accountability, and community transformation.
This is not simply a leadership program.
It is a formation experience.
Participants will engage ideas, frameworks, conversations, readings, and practical applications designed to strengthen their ability to lead responsibly within congregations, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, civic initiatives, and community settings.
Who Should Apply?
The cohort is designed for:
Clergy and faith leaders
Emerging scholars and doctoral students
